As Southeast Pet continues to strive to offer the southeast the best service we possibly can, we saw the opportunity to expand our distribution area to include all of Florida. By adding a second warehouse location in March 2013, we have moved toward expanding deliveries to the whole state of Florida, when before we were only able to service the Panhandle areas.
Our new office & warehouse space is located in Lakeland, Florida. It has 27,000 sq ft. of product space. We have over 50 manufacter's represented in our Florida selection, but are adding products and manufacturers continuously. Representing Southeast Pet in Florida are our two new sales representatives, Ingrid Berger & Sharon Rosete. Both come with years of experience in the pet industry and are very familiar with the Florida market. We are very happy with the expertise they bring to our team and know that they will take great care of all your store's needs.
Thank you for your support and participation in another successful Southeast Pet Open House! Paw Wars featured an expanded selection of new manufacturers and products, great speakers & even Darth Vader himself made an appearance! We had a great time seeing everyone at Paw Wars and we hope you did too! Plans for our 2014 Open House are already underway!

We are expanding the scope of our voluntary recall to include all Natura brand products with expiration dates
up to and including March 24, 2014.
Please notify your stores of this voluntary recall of affected products as outlined in the table below. Also,
please advise your stores to follow the attached retrieval instructions to execute this voluntary recall.
As we continued to work with the FDA, we want to ensure that every product in the marketplace meets our
highest quality standards. Therefore, we are making the voluntary decision to expand our current recall.
We have already implemented a number of enhancements to our sanitation and production processes. We
have worked closely with the FDA throughout this process.
The Natura plant in Fremont Nebraska is back in full production and running 24/7 to resupply the market as
soon as possible. All products now go through positive release testing-which ensures that all products shipping
from Fremont meet our high quality standards. Our resupply efforts are well underway and we continue to ship
products as they are produced.

This is always an interesting and exciting time of the year. It’s a time to reflect on the previous year and to plan for and look forward to the upcoming year. We’ve had an exciting year here at Southeast Pet and we’d like to thank you for your support and your business.
As I look back on the year, we were able to accomplish a number of initiatives including the following:
· We were successful in adding a number of great suppliers.
· We had a very successful open house.
· We acquired and integrated NC Natural (a North Carolina based distributor).
· We reorganized our sales territories to help maximize our time with clients.
· We partnered with Merchants for Change to create the Southeast Pet Project (a program designed to help our clients lower their credit card rates while raising money at the point of sale for animal shelters and charities). Read More Here
· We made some changes with our preferred ordering times that has improved the schedule for the night shift. This has played an important role in helping us attract and retain quality team members. We have never felt better about the team we now have in place and we have you to thank for it.
The week of Christmas & New Years Southeast Pet will run the following order and delivery schedule:

Sometimes overlooked during times of natural disasters are the creatures that can bring the most comfort during those times, loving companion animals. Many cats and dogs were displaced as a result of Hurricane Sandy’s impact on the Northeast and are in need of food and supplies. Southeast Pet was able to reach out to a few manufacturing partners to split the cost of sending food up to displaced pets. Together, we were able to donate 4,500 lbs. of Fromm, Natura and Nutro, worth over $10,000 at retail value. Local father and son team, Randy and Cody Mayfield, partnered with the Salvation Army and were able to deliver our donation as well as other donations from churches and organizations in the Atlanta area up north to people and pets affected by the storm. Southeast Pet would like to thank everyone involved in the process of sending help to the victims.

With Thanksgiving coming up, office hours and ordering times will be on holiday scheduling. The office will be open this Sunday, November 18th, and your sales representative will be available to take orders for Monday order days. All order days will move up one day because the office will be closed on Thursday and Friday, November 22nd & 23. Please call your inside rep if you have any questions on ordering and delivery times.
