Frozen pet food is a rapidly growing category. In addition to wellness benefits, this category provides independent pet specialty retailers with a competitive advantage over grocery, big box, and internet retailers. How the Freezer Program Works
Your SEP Field Sales Rep will present the program and:
● Work with you to select a location for the freezer in your store.
● Review the freezer program agreement and answer any questions.
● Submit all of the documents to Kate Whitmire (kwhitmire@southeastpet.com) for review and approval.
● Coordinate with the vendors to support you with programs to grow your frozen business.
● Contact selected vendors via email for approval and verify ISO eligibility and forward the email correspondance to Kate for credit backup.

Retailer will:
● Sign completed SEP freezer program agreement.
● Be responsible to pay their portion of the freezer invoice directly with the freezer supplier.
● Purchase the brands in the freezer exclusively from SEP for a 3 year period.
● Purchase the initial stocking order at the your SEP pricing unless the vendor chooses to provide an additional promotion.
● Reimburse the vendor’s initial investment if the retailer replaces a vendor with another SEP vendor.
Habco Freezer Orders: Southeast Pet will initiate your Habco order directly with the supplier along with the vendor and SEP contribution (legally the transaction will be between the freezere supplied and the retailer). Retailer will be responsible for the remaining balanace.
Minus Forty Freezer Orders: Southeast Pet will initiate your Minus Forty order directly with the supplier along with thee vendor and SEP contribution (legally the trasaction will be between the freezere supplier and the retailer). Retailer will be responsible for the remaining balance.
Migali Freezer Orders: The retailer will place their order directly with a Migali distributor. SEP will provide the retailer with a credit covering the SEP and vendor contributions. Migali Distributor Contact: Anthony@restaurantproonline.com
Performance Requirements: Retailer agrees to:
1. Place the freezer in the store located at the address listed and utilize the freezer to display only participating brands of frozen products purchased from SEP for a minimum of three (3) years.
2. Maintain the freezer in a clean and attractive condition; and once the freezer is installed and functioning properly, to perform all necessary maintenance and repairs; and to pay all utilities related to the Freezer.
Comply with all laws and regulations relating to, and promptly pay when due, all property taxes, any license or regulation fees, assessments or other charges, whether municipal, state, or federal now or hereafter imposed upon, the possession or use of the freezer.
